Pulau Ubin is a natural small island located on north-eastern side of main island of Singapore. The location is on the north-eastern off shore of main island of Singapore near to Changi Village.

Pulau Ubin were located in the Johor Strait, a narrow sea passage that separating mainland continent Asia in Johor, Malaysia with Singapore Island. Pulau Ubin are reachable using local share ride boat from Changi Point Ferry Terminal.

Pulau Ubin or sometimes called just Ubin were literally means Granite Island in Malay language. It is an island with has an area of 10.19 kilometer square, with the highest point is at Bukit Puaka at 75 meter above sea level.

Originally Pulau Ubin were a local and only Singapore Granite quarry, the granite were excavated and send to the main island and used for building construction all around Singapore. In 1970 the granite quarries were closed by the government.

Today Pulau Ubin is one of the last traditional village area, rural area and the least touched by urban modern construction in Singapore. Pulau Ubin is also a popular tourist destination among local and foreign tourist.
